What do you provide for mobile hibachi catering?
Hibachi W brings the hibachi grill, propane, fresh meats, seafood, vegetables, fried rice and sauces, plus all cooking tools needed for the live show. Our chef takes care of the full grill setup, cooking, and light cleanup of the cooking area throughout your hibachi party.
What if it rains or the weather is bad?
For hibachi at home, please plan a covered, well-ventilated outdoor area such as a tent, garage opening, carport or covered patio. In cases of severe weather, our team will review options with you and try to reschedule based on chef availability.
Is hibachi at home safe?
Yes. Our hibachi at home service is designed for safe outdoor use in open, well-ventilated areas such as backyards, patios, driveways and Airbnb outdoor spaces. Our chefs follow strict fire and grill safety procedures at every event.
How early should l book a private hibachi chef?
We recommend booking your private hibachi chef 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and holidays. Last-minute dates may be available, but popular times for backyard hibachi parties and Airbnb trips sell out quickly.
What do l need to prepare at home?
You provide the space, tables, chairs and tableware for your guests. We set up the hibachi grill in a safe outdoor area such as a backyard, driveway, patio or Airbnb outdoor space. No kitchen or stove is needed — we cook everything outside.
Do you charge travel or setup fees?
There is no separate setup fee — full hibachi grill setup is included. A travel fee may apply depending on your address and distance from our chef. Our team will confirm any travel charges when we check your location and send your quote.
Do you cook indoors or outdoors?
We cook outdoors only. Our mobile hibachi chefs set up the grill in a safe outdoor area such as a backyard, driveway, covered patio or similar space. No indoor kitchen or stove is required for hibachi at home.
